I use photography as a medium for the representation of the beauty of the simple things that surround us in our daily lives. This is a beauty that is not always observed, nor is it always visible. But it is always present. To identify and to capture with the help of a camera the unique nature and splendor of the varied objects we see all the time, to view them at a different angle, in a different light, in their unusual combinations, gives me an additional dimension of happiness. A happiness I would wish to share with those who look at my photographs in the hope that they would also take the time every day to stop, notice, see and understand. And that is the reason why I do not use any computer software to change the nature or substance of the originals. Because those originals, the objects that become the subjects of my work, are indeed original, and as such – beautiful.
